Uganda election: President Museveni claims opposition are agents of ‘foreign interests’
Uganda’s police chief has said the country has space in its prisons to cope with any spike in arrests during next week’s presidential elections.
The warning comes during a campaign, marked by deadly violence and the arrest of several opposition candidates for holding rallies in breach of Covid restrictions.
