Sri Lanka: Political victimisation report “may undermine rule of law, impair the independence of the judiciary..” say Nine Presidential Councilors
The contents of the report of the commission of inquiry to the presidential political victimisation commissioners Messrs Upali Abeyratne, Chandra Jayathilaka and Chandra Fernando may undermine the rule of law, impair the independence of the judiciary and erode the impartial and efficient functioning of the Attorney General Department, says nine Nine presidential councilors in a letter to the secretary to the Bar Association of Sri Lanka.
