Today commemorates the 156th anniversary of the end of slavery in the US. For the first time, Americans have marked ‘Juneteenth’ with a federal holiday, as signed into law this week by President Joe Biden.
We spent a day at Cardozo Education Campus in Washington DC to ask students and teachers if this is the progress they’re looking for.
